Amit a resident of Northern part of Kanpur(India), fell down from the railway coach while traveling. He spent 5-6 hours at railway track, screaming for help. He lost all the hope for survival, but finally opened his eyes in the ICU and was in utter state of shock, as he felt no pain and unable to move his leg. Yes, he lost his one leg on that scary night. Amit went to depression and lost his desire to relive his life again.

Avdhootam came to know about his condition and after rigorous session of counseling, succeeded in bringing back his “CSC – Health” (Corporal, Spiritual & Cerebral). Artificial Leg donation by Avdhootam Social Welfare Society was a संजीवनी बूटी for him.

Amit is now again independent, standing on his own legs and finally back to his work & social life. He is grateful and feels fortunate enough to get back second life.
